Born on June 19,1926, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, and raised in Robinson Ill., Patricia's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her community. Patricia graduated from Robinson High School, married Julian Saunders in 1947 and together, they raised a family in Champaign, Il. She spent much of her life as a devoted stay-at-home mother. She later served as a volunteer at Mercy Hospital and was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
In her leisure time, Patricia was a skilledneedle pointer and participant in her local Bridge Club and Dominoes group. She and Julian traveled across the United States in their RV camper after retirement. Patricia’s family and friends were central to her life.
She is survived by her children: Julianne Davis (Bob), Betsy Baczkowski (Berney), Mike Saunders (Pat), and Robbie Saunders (Sharon); her grandchildren; John, Kristen and Misha and her 4 great-grandchildren; Xander, Logan, Brendan, and Julien.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Saunders, parents Clifford and Ollie Walters, her sisters Betty McClure and Jane Siler, her brother, Robert Walters and son-in-laws, Bob Davis and Berney Bacxzkowski.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew and adored her.
