Peter Joseph Pilot

Peter Joseph Pilot of Gainesville, FL passed away January 25, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Peter was born in North Adams, MA on January 13, 1949 to Robert and Margaret (St. Pierre) Pilot who predeceased him. 

Peter is survived by his long time companion Charles (Terry) Rogers and their three cats, his brothers Robert Pilot and his wife Carolina (Vigna), James Pilot and his wife Jodie( Brazeau), and his sisters Jean Woodard and her husband Bruce, Kim Vareschi and her partner Gary Chater, Lynn 
Sumner, Judy Cimas and Jill Pilot Erwin and her husband David, his beloved friend Funda Webb and many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. 

Peter attended North Adams schools and graduated from the University of Florida.  During his life, Peter was a staunch promoter of peace, and an avid gardener who loved family, friends, animals and children.  He was a creative person who enjoyed writing, drawing and art in general.
