Ralph William Hoffman

Ralph William Hoffman of High Springs, FL passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 71. He was surrounded by loved ones. He grew up in Miami, FL but has called the High Springs area home for the last 45 years.

Ralph was an incredible father, brother, uncle, and grandfather and was deeply loved by his three grown children and four grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Papa”. He loved boating, fishing, the beach, and spending time with his family. Ralph worked at the University of Florida for 35 years, before retiring in 2014. He was known in the community for coaching his now grown kids’ sports teams, especially softball, during their youth, and never missed a game or match throughout their high school days.

Ralph is survived by his children Crisie Hoffman (Karson), Angie Santopadre (Geno), and Nick Hoffman (Alexa); grandchildren Emilia, Hailey, Vivian, and AJ; brother Mike Hoffman (Pat) and sister Anne Kelly (Joe); and dear companion Helena. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his oldest brother, Dow Hoffman; and the mother of his children, Tina Hoffman.
