Richard passed away on Oct 2,2023 at the age of 76, peacefully in his sleep at Shands Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was surrounded by family.
Richard was born in Ogdensburg, NY.
He moved to Rochester NY with his wife Sharon and only son Cliff.
He worked for Eastman Kodak Co. for 41 years before retiring.
He also drove an ambulance for a few years
Richard was a very loving, caring person and was also very humble.
He loved his family very dearly.
He was also an animal lover.
He moved to Gainesville FL 5 years ago to live with his son and daughter in law and only grandson.
Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Rhoda Mills, and his wife of 53 years, Sharon Mills.
Survived by Son Clifford (Michele) Mills; and grandson, Carmine Mills.
He instilled the true meaning of unconditional love and the importance of the bonds of a family.
In lieu of expressing with flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association in the memory of Sharon Mills.
