Richard Wynn Robinson, 70, of Hawthorne passed away July 15th, 2022, following an extended illness. Richard was born to Lt Col John William Robinson and Willouise Wilson Robinson at Eglin AFB and was the youngest of four siblings. He met his wife, Paula Davidson Kelly, in Gainesville, FL and the two were wed in August of 1989.Gifted as a mechanic, Richard spent the bulk of his working career being just that. He spent the majority of this time at Florida Septic, Inc. of Hawthorne, working with dedication from 1983 to 2011. When he wasn’t making motors run, Richard put to use his love for animals, tending to his herd of cattle, and adding goat shepherd to his list of titles in the most recent decade.A perfect example of calm waters running deep, Richard listened much more than he spoke. When he did speak it was incredibly thoughtful and if there was ever perfect logic, he spoke it. He thought more of others than himself and was always eager to help and rarely willing to ask. We will all miss him and his wisdom until we are together again.Richard was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Paula. He is survived by his daughter Marguerite Wood (Harrison), his sister Teresa, and brothers John Wilson Robinson (Sandi), and William Robinson (Mary Ann Counts). Richard is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Richard was a loving father and husband. I will always remember how happy he made my sister Paula and how much they loved Mimi and made their lives all about her. I look forward to seeing you and Paula in heaven!!
Rest in peace Richard. My sympathies to family and friends, especially Marguerite and Harrison Wood.
I attended school with Richard Robinson at HHS throughout most dry of our school years and we graduated in 1970. Richard was always quite but always very up on all things around, he was very intelligent and a wonderful friend. RIP my friend!
My deepest sympathy Mimi to you and Harrison. Your mom and dad are together again, those two had a real love for each other and they loved you so much. They will always be watching over you.
