Roger Barnes Granum, 84, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on April 5, 2018 in Jacksonville. He was born March 20, 1934 in San Pedro, California, son of the late Alfred and Ethel Granum. Crevasse's Simple Cremation of Jacksonville is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Granum.

After retiring from the Navy, Roger continued a life of service. He was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis), became its 6th President, and for almost 30 years participated in almost all of the service and fund raising projects of the club. In addition, he was a faithful and committed member of the congregation of St Paul’s Anglican Church. He touched a lot of souls and made innumerable friendships in the Annapolis area. We have missed his dedicated service and quick smile since he moved to Florida and he will be sorely missed as we at Parole Rotary and St Paul’s continue our missions.
I knew Roger through the Grand Banks Owners Club here in the Chesapeake Bay. He was a generous and lovely man. I remember when he hosted a get together in his home on the South River. We enjoyed seeing Roger on many of the cruises over the years. My deepest condolences to his family. Please let us know when his service will be in June as I would like to pay my respects. (I saw his obituary in the Capital this morning, but was unable to assess it on line.) Sincerely, Linda Allen
