Ronald Lee Toupin, Sr.

October 24, 1947 ~ February 12, 2024

Ronald Toupin Sr. was a caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Most of you may know that he has battled with a terminal illness for quite a long time.  He departed from this world peacefully on February 12, 2024, at the age of 76.

Beloved son to the late Jeanette and Arthur Toupin, born in Mount Clemens, MI on Oct 24, 1947. Loving father of Christina (Greg) Kimmerer, and Ronald (Rachael) Toupin Jr.; proud grandfather of Johey and Dylan (Kimmerer); Jonathon, Rebekah and Benjamin (Toupin); Preceded in death by Marianne Long; survived by Leonard Toupin, Sandy Bertholet, and Debbie Toupin; treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He spent most of his career as maintenance man for various apartment complexes, but he also spent the remaining years of his working life in hospitality (maintenance, cooking, cleaning) with a few well-known hotel chains.  He truly enjoyed helping people, and in his later years, developed many new friendships at church and in the mobile home community for which he lived.  Ron’s greatest loves of his life were his drawings from when he was a thriving young artist, music, fishing, and being with friends and family.  He enjoyed life until his illness finally slowed him down.  He prayed to God every day, still tithed to his church, and maintained beautiful friendships in his community.

While we will all will miss him, we all understand his suffering, and are so blessed to know that he is now in the hands of our Heavenly Father, with a new body, once again able to visit with the people that he loved who have passed before.

Donations may be made in Ronald's name to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or the American Lung Association.
