Russell Edwin Flaitz, 65, passed away on Friday, July 8th at 12:15pm at Haven Hospice
in Gainesville, Florida after a brief illness.
He leaves behind his loving wife Sandy, his sons Dylan and Tyler, his daughters Farah
and Mandy, his grandchildren Riley, Rowan, Ellory, and Lucia, his brothers Mike and
Alan, and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah, his father, Frank, his brother, Patrick,
and his niece, Kimberly.
He was best known for his sharp wit and sense of adventure. He will be remembered as
a craftsman, carpenter, chef, sailor, and amazing father.
