Russell Lee Dunnam was born on February 18, 1963, and went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 5, 2024. He is preceded to Heaven by his sweet wife, Susan Joy Scarborough Dunnam; his mother and father Terry William Dunnam and Margaret Yvonne Dunnam; his oldest brother TJ Dunnam; and his sister, Linda Dunnam Emigh. He is survived by so many loved ones here on earth, and two children, including his daughter, Sarah Kate Dunnam Scott (Sam) and their son Wesley Russell Scott; and his older brother John Dunnam.
Russ, as he was known by family and friends, was a saved follower of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a lifelong lover of music, being an accomplished vocalist since High School. More recently, he took up the Baritone horn, and enjoyed the challenge of learning a new instrument. Russ worked in the Heat Treating Industry most of his life as a Quality Engineer for various companies. His knowledge of metallurgy was quite extensive. He is missed by his co-workers and friends, as well as by his family.
Russ loved his family. During his last days here on earth, he enjoyed so many memories of times growing up with them, and was overjoyed meeting his first grandson Wesley. He was always ready to laugh with you as well as cry with you during the various mountains and valleys of life. He is with his Savior now. He has been reunited with his loved ones and is enjoying his healing and rest.
Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Dunnam family.

Russell was a childhood friend of mine (we were friends from age 2 or 3). I will miss him very much. May God help you through this difficult time.
Bless you all. Knew Russell professionally and have great respect for keen knowledge and ability to technically adapt. I'm sure he is now in better place and in peace.
