Ruth Carol Bryant, age 90, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on July 26, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 9, 1928 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of Victor Albert Bryan and the former Sarah Elizabeth Smart. Mrs. Bryant retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after 25 years, and she enjoyed watching old movies and spending time and taking care of her husband and family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leroy Bryant; daughter, Linda Mitchell; son, Glenn "Butch" Bryant. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Bryant, Ken Bryant (Debbie), and Michael Bryant; daughter, Patricia (Robert) Padgett; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was my Grandma. I can’t remember a time she was ever bad to me. She was always very sweet spirited and love everyone.
