  1. Aunt Sara was my confirmation sponsor. We shared a love of theater together. When I was little I sang “Love and Marriage” at her bridal shower. I loved her very much.

  2. Mrs. D was an inspiration to me and so many other theater students. I have incredible respect for her work ethic and that of Mr. D too! They truly made JP Taravella’s theater program something to be so proud of and she has been so dearly missed but will always be remembered. I adored my roles all 4 years of high school especially playing Sandy in Grease my senior year. She truly helped develop us and strongly guided with love for what she did. My prayers to her loved ones, she will never be forgotten.

  3. I knew Sara as a teacher at Taravella. She was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration to all her students. She will be missed by all those who knew her.  My sympathy goes out to her family and especially to Jim who was a friend to me for all those years.

  4. To our beloved Mrs. DeGregory who we respected and inspired to be one day. I have many fond memories of my high school years in Drama class and Drama Club troupe#3502 at J. P Taravella High School. May you Rest In Peace.

  5. Death ends a life, not a relationship. You’ll always be my loving mother. Missing you always, Remembering you forever.. You’re loving daughter, Tricia

  6. Mrs. DeGregory had a profound impact in my life and I’m so grateful for the lessons she shared and prepared me for in the roller coaster of life. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family. Mr. D, I’m so sorry for your loss. Love and prayers for you.

  7. Although we are not directly related, we feel like part of the family through our close friendship with Sara & George Hammermister and their sons.  We sense your loss and pray God’s comfort surround you during this difficult time.  Please accept our deepest sympathies.
