Sheryl Ann Walker

September 24, 2022

Sheryl Ann Walker, 67, of Coral Springs, FL, passed on September 24, 2022 in Gainesville, FL. She was born on March 26, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Beatrice and Albert Block. Sheryl had a beautiful marriage to her husband, Jimi Walker, for 36 years before he passed away in 2015 due to health complications from his service in Vietnam. Sheryl is survived by her children; Jennifer and Andrew; and her sister, Susan.

Sheryl was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and friend, and will be deeply missed. She was a huge dog lover and absolutely adored her daughter’s rescue dog, Charlie. Sheryl loved fashion and jewelry, and loved getting dressed up no matter the occasion, especially if it involved animal print.

Sheryl and her late husband, Jimi, had the most loving marriage and she will be laid to rest alongside him at the South Florida National Cemetery. Sheryl spent her final days with her children, Jennifer and Andrew; Jennifer’s fiancé, Jeff; and was able to hear from her loving sister, Susan; and close friends, Nancy and Jay.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sheryl’s memory to the heroes at Haven Hospice. Memorial Gifts can be made here: https://www.beyourhaven.biz/donate

  2. Sheryl,
You were very special to everyone you came in contact with. You always told it like it is. I really drew close with you as I helped you prepare to sell your home and then helped you sell it do you can be with your kids. God knew. Thank you for sharing with me how much you loved your husband and other encouraging words. I’m thankful that there is no more suffering and you are now with our Lord with a new set of lungs and a completely healthy body. Much love until we meet again.
