  1. Joe, I am so sorry to hear about you and your families loss of Shirley. I am also sorry I was unaware that you all were back in FL. Had I known, I would have been up there to see her! I still remember her, introducing me to out of town friends, as "My best friend"! She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. I don't know if you knew, but after Roger's death, I married Tex Stevens, who had been our minister of music in TX. I lost him March 10, 2019! Apparently, unknown to me until later years, his first marriage was not the blessing it should have been, and I was blessed to be able to be there with him through the years he needed someone the most.( Also, to have 5 more g.children who still call me "Nanna & G.Ma!" I am glad, Shirley had you by her side, and her children/g.children she loved so much. You were both blessings in Roger's and my lives. My love & prayers are w/you and your family. If there is ever anything I can do for any of you, please let me know! Danna
