Sidney A. “Chuck” Tussinger, 74, of Gainesville, Florida passed away at home, December 20, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer H. Tussinger and Patricia Helen Tussinger, by his brothers, Carl, Melvin, Butch and Danny Tussinger, also his sisters, Mary Ellen Swanson and Janie Akers. Also, by his wife for over 45 years, Virginia “Jenny” Morgan Tussinger.

He was survived by his sisters Gayle Paulson, Cindy Baxley, Linda Hersey and Robin Baxley, his daughter Stacy Tussinger, son Lee Tussinger (Marisa), his grandchildren, Jon Ralston, Sydnie Ralston, Justice Tussinger, Morgan Tussinger & Leison Tussinger, four great grandchildren, Leo, Skyla, Elijah & Walker Lee.

Chuck was a lifelong resident of Alachua County where he was (the best) paint & body man by trade for over 50 years. He was passionate about GOD, his family, his work, and he loved football and NASCAR.

Crevasse’s Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Tussinger family.

  13. Uncle Chuck, You were a good husband, father, grandfather, and friend. You were a fantastic uncle. I remember being a little kid and swimming at the river and lakes with you. I remember going camping and dancing around fires in the backyard. You worked on every car that I ever owned because you were a great body and fender repair man and I was a terrible driver. You disabled the airbag in my first car because you knew how dangerous they were back then. You were always taking care of us.
    I feel terrible for Stacy and Lee, but they were lucky to have you even though they-we- will miss you forever.
    Save a place at the table for us. See you when we get Home.
