JoAnn was a very caring, loving and an unselfish person , who always consider others, especially her friends and their families before herself . JoAnn was the primary care giver to many ill and terminal family members that preceded her in death. JoAnn endured many hardships over her lifetime to include the early (39 years old) death of her first Husband, Joe Broxton, Sr. ( father of her two sons, Paul and David) , Then God blessed JoAnn with a loving and caring man in her later years, her husband( Mac Lee) who became her soul mate, best friend and caregiver to JoAnn in their own home to the very end. The Family is so thankful that God allowed that to take place.

The family wants to thank all of our friends, the numerous healthcare workers, especially Cristy Bradt, Senior Therapy Support Specialist, with Medtronic, John (PT), Brenda (PT), Breanne (SPT), all the many Nurses, the CNA's (Tyra  and Connie) for their professional and loving care of JoAnn the last year of her life. Finally, we want to thank Communitv Hospice for their outstanding care and services during her last days. Community Hospice made it so much easier and comfortable for JoAnn, our entire family and friends.

  9. I am so blessed to have known you, worked with you, and encouraged you to keep fighting through this debilitating disease. You are one of the strongest women I have ever known and I love you with all my heart. "Goodbyes are not forever. are not the end; it simply means I'll miss you until we meet again my friend" …"What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us" Helen Keller

Silvia you are now a part of me that I will hold dearly in my hear!

  10. My sweet momma, it doesn’t seem like it has been a year on the 19th to me it seems like yesterday. There’s not a day go by that I’m not thinking about you and wonder how you are doing but I know you have your hand on me watching over us. I still find it difficult with your passing but I try and find comfort that you are no longer in pain but it may seem selfish but I would rather have you back to be able to give you a hug and say I love you. Till that time we can meet and hold each other I will keep you close in my heart,

    Your loving son,

    Paul
