Brittany Piner, 2nd cousin of Steve. Although Steve and I did not know eachother well, his mother, my great aunt, was a big part of my childhood growing up. I am sure that he has reunited with her in heaven which brings me solice.

Stephen Robins Valencourt, age 62, passed away on November 30, 2025 in Ocala, FL. Steve was born on June 1,1963 in Victoria, VA and grew up in Hampton, VA where he graduated from Bethel High School in 1981. He went on to attend the NN Shipbuilding Apprentice School, specializing in computer programming and networking. These skills would later take him to Bamberg, Germany while working for the US Navy where he had the opportunity to travel the entirety of Europe.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Louisa Gary Valencourt and Marvin D. Valencourt, Sr., as well as his big brother Marvin D. Valencourt Jr. In addition to his core family, Steve lost two lifelong friends whom he considered brothers; William “Bill” Lanier and Allen Austin, both of Hampton VA.
Steve leaves behind to miss him dearly, his lifelong friend and “Brother” Timothy “Tim” Hancock and his cousin Laurie Artman McIntosh (Rainy). He will also be greatly missed by his sweet golden retriever, Gemma.
