After a hard-fought battle with an aggressive cancer, Steven M. Griffith, of Ocala, Florida passed away on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 while in Hospice Care at the age of 56. Mr. Griffith was born on October 2nd, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio.
Steven was a driven professional with an unmatched work ethic. He was an avid boater and loved to fish. He very much enjoyed riding his motorcycle on his free time. Steven remained dedicated to his job and optimistic he would beat this cancer. Steven remained brave even throughout his final weeks. He is now free and with our Lord after this arduous battle with cancer.
Steven is survived by his mother, Gisela Bennett, his son, Phillip and wife Stephanie. His grandsons, Cayden and Colton as well as his half-brother Carl Leake.
Steven requested to be cremated. the family would especially like to thank the staff of Marion County Hospice for their kind, caring and constant attentive treatment. Donations in Steven's name may be made to the Marion County Hospice, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, Florida 34478.

Very sad to here of your passing my friend our friendship started in fourth grade and lasted a lifetime. Many great times when the woods and swamps surrounded us still existed. You’ll be missed by many and remember.
