My mom was very beautiful, strong, caring, courageous and loving as a person. She was very much a free thinker. She raised both my sister and me the best she could. Yet she was also was independent in her life. There were many things my mom said and taught both of us that we needed in life, that if she wasn’t there I wouldn’t know how I would have turned out. As kids she would always be there to comfort us when we had a nightmare. And read stories to us before going to bed. And if we were feeling down about ourselves she was there to bring our self esteem up. I remember playing hide and seek around the house with my mom and then it just became a game with my sister. But my mom would be the one who would start the counting. My mom gave me my first chores and it was to do the dishes. I hated doing the dishes. But she would tell me “you make a mess, you clean a mess.” And that stuck with me for the rest of my life. I can’t stand to see a dirty dish in the sink. I love my mom she helped me with so many things. One time we were talking about relationship and she said that a person will not show you there true face in a relationship for about 6 months. That they will only show you the good side. And I have found that to be true. My mom’s hair was beautiful and her skin and eyes. But when you really got to know my mom it was her heart and soul that were the most beautiful of all. My mom was an animal lover and she passed that down to both me and my sister. My mom loved purple flowers. And the teacup roses. She even had a little herb garden in her house for a while. I will always carry my mom’s memories with me and the love for her in my heart and soul. She wasn’t just my mom, she was a lot more than that. She had secret love in her life with which she pursued. She was open minded to other things beyond just religion. She was supportive to her own wants and willing to go get them. I remember she wanted to take a dance class and didn’ have a partner but she was going to take it anyway. She was so happy at the end of that class. And pleased with herself. I was happy for her. My mom may be gone but what she left on this world will always be remember in my heart and soul. I love you mom your the greatest mom ever ❤️!
