Suzanne Pridgeon Strong

November 1, 2021

Suzanne Pridgeon Strong (67), Luraville, Florida, passed away Monday, November  1, after succumbing to cancer. Born in Tampa she lived most of her life in Luraville. She worked as an R.N. for years, and in her free time enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and spending time with her dogs.

Suzanne is survived by her husband Paul, daughter Jennifer Risley (Bryan), son Brian Pridgeon (Hannah),  brother, Donald Bart Lancaster (Theresa), three stepchildren, Donald Krall (Angie), Sherrie Geesaman (Willis), Michael Krall (Melinda), two granddaughters, Madison Brooks and Jaycee Pridgeon, four step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Lancaster, mother, Barbara Ann (Starling) Lancaster, and brother James Craig Lancaster.

In classic Suzanne fashion, she deemed a service unnecessary as they are for the living. “The dead don’t care.”

  1. Dear Cousin and Family,

Knowing the Love and Kindness that you and Suzanne had for each other is our lasting memory of a remarkable woman.

Her spirit and courage to overcome life's difficulties is an example worth noting.

Remembering the trip you arranged for she and I and how we were carefree under your protective eye. I experienced Suzanne at her finest with her unconditional love, loyalty, laughter and eye for fashionable hats and handbags.

Together she and I browsed, listened to music, danced, dined, took each other's photos, giggled and shopped, such a wonderful sisterly adventure.

Suzanne patiently showed us how to live the moment and we can take comfort knowing she now walks with Christ.

    Our sincere condolences.
    Our Love, Deborah and Steven
