Thayla Adams

Thayla Webb Adams, age 88, died on October 5, 2025. She was born in 1937 to Alva + Leora (Myers) Webb in Barnard, Kansas.

Thayla graduated from Barnard High School + also Kansas State University with a degree in Home Economics. She taught school for many years + then worked in the hospitality industry in sales + catering until she retired.

Thayla loved her family, gardening + college sports ~ especially her Florida Gators + K-State Wildcats. She also loved her church, Grace at Fort Clarke Church.

Thayla is survived by her four children. Kellee (Bob) Wattenbarger of Gainesville, FL, Kevin (Cherise Stovall) Adams of Grosse Tete, LA, Kimbra (Tracey) Elliott of Gainesville, FL + Kara (Brad) Lewellen of High Springs, FL; seven grandchildren + 9 great grandchildren.

Thayla was preceded in death by her parents, Alva + Leora Webb, + her sisters, Lawana Kohman, Waloka Nelson + Sandra Webb.
