Viola Lindsey McNair passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida on August 16, 2019 at the age of 84. She was born on October 4, 1934 in Cuthbert, GA. She lived in Omega, GA until she retired from JP Stevens and moved to High Springs, FL. She loved fishing, gardening, country music and square dancing.
Viola is survived by her five children, Hazel (Webb) Mason of Hermanville, MS, Nancy Bentley of Bryon, GA, Trish (Mark) Keohane of Gainesville, FL, Cheryl Cravey of High Springs, FL and Dennis Paul Nichols of High Springs, FL; siblings, George (Frances) Lindsey of Dewillville, NY, Virginia Daniels of Albany, GA, Isabelle Bowman of Omega, GA, Joseph Lindsey of Albany, GA, Wilbur (Charlotte) Lindsey of Albany, GA; Viola has15 grandchildren - Adam, Quint, Melissa, Lori, Maggie, James, Elizabeth, Christina, Tyler, Tytiana, Ryan, Caitlin, Lindsey, Jessica and Matthew and 11 great-grandchildren - Cole, Lane, Allie, Isabelle, Taylor, Dillon, Gavin, Aleeya, Wesley, Christian and Spencer. She is preceded in death by her parents Irving W. Lindsey and Bessie Mae (Reese) Lindsey and her siblings Henry Lindsey, Irving Lindsey, Jr., Lula Jane Schramm, and Bessie Maude Lindsey. She will be greatly missed by those she loved and those who loved her.
