Nana, I miss you so much. The hole left in my heart is massive but I have some peace knowing you have been reunited with Papa and Jake. I know you will watch over and guide us all. I am so glad you are no longer in pain. I love you.

Wanda J. Midkiff, 94, of Gainesville, Florida (formerly of Palatka, Florida) passed away January 13, 2026.
Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, and her grandson, Jacob. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy; her son, Lou; her granddaughters, Stacey (Andrew) and Shannon; her great-grandson, Caleb; and other extended family members.
“Nana,” as she was affectionately known, had a flashy fashion sense and loved to go line dancing with her friends at the Moose Lodge. Her beautiful spirit, quick wit and fantastic hugs will be greatly missed.
