WILLIAM KENNETH (BILL) CASWELL AGE 65, OF GAINESVILLE, FL, PASSED AWAY ON THURSDAY, MAY 10, 2018 AT HIS HOME SURROUNDED BY HIS FAMILY.

HE WAS BORN IN LAFARGEVILLE,NY. HE IS PREDECEASED BY HIS PARENTS PATRICIA AND KENNETH CASWELL OF LAFARGEVILLE AND SURVIVED BY THREE SISTERS: SANDRA TIMERMAN (RALPH ) CATHERINE RUNNING (SEAN) OF LAFARGEVILLE AND JEAN HALLER (WILLIAM) OF GAINESVILLE,FL.

BILL WAS RETIRED FROM NORTH FLORIDA REGIONAL HOSPITAL WHERE HE WORKED AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST FOR 38 YEARS. HE SERVED IN THE US NAVY FROM 1972 TO 1977.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE OF 39 YEARS, BETTY DOERR CASWELL AND 2 CHILDREN ANDREW WILLIAM (ELIZABETH) AND RITA CATHERINE RUEGGER(PATRICK), THREE GRANDCHILDREN, RILEY, ISLA AND JACOB AND MANY BELOVED NIECES, NEPHEWS, COUSINS AND IN LAWS.
 MEMORIAL DONATIONS CAN BE MADE IN HIS MEMORY TO A REGIONAL HONOR FLIGHT HUB IN YOUR AREA.

  2. I was so shocked to hear of Bill’s passing. We just spoke a couple of weeks ago. So many great memories shared with Bill during our teenage years. He was always the craziest one of the group. Trying to fight an entire opposing football team by himself, handstands on the 1000 Bridge guardrails 150 feet above the water, hitchhiking on the St. Lawrence by swimming out to a buoy in the main shipping channel and catching rides with amazed boaters,… on and on.
