William “Bill” Musselwhite Jr. went to his heavenly home surrounded by his family on September 2, 2025. Bill was born on April 26, 1934, to William Musselwhite and Lula Smoak Musselwhite in Homestead, FL., where he grew up on the family farm. The love of farming led him to the University of Florida where he earned a degree in agriculture. He was an active member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. In 1925 his father had the privilege of bringing the charter down from AGR’s national headquarters and establishing the chapter on UF campus. Bill remained active with his AGR brothers and was honored to speak during the Chapter’s recent 100-year celebration dinner.
Upon graduating from UF in 1956, he farmed for many years in Homestead FL. prior to accepting a position with the Asgrow FL company (previously known as Kilgore Seed Company). He then became Sales Manager for Asgrow moving to the Plant City FL headquarters in 1970. While in Plant City he was very active in the First United Methodist Church. He and Marjorie eventually moved to Gainesville to be closer to family.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Lou Snider of Homestead. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marjorie Alexander Musselwhite, his 3 daughters Karen Thompson (Bill) Gainesville FL., Kelly Cusson (Jeff) Vero Beach FL., and Kathy Lawrence (Don) of Santa Fe, TN. Bill was blessed with 7 wonderful grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Bill was an avid Gator fan and will be rooting them on in heaven. He was a true gentlemen, husband, father and grandfather serving as a Christian role model for his family and friends. God blessed us all through Bill’s life.
Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Musselwhite family.

Bill was a kind and humble servant of Christ and his family. He was always an encourager to his friends and family – time spent with Bill simply made all of us better. Our prayers are with Marjorie and all the family – thank you all for sharing this wonderful soul with us.
My sympathies and love to all your family, with prayers that the Lord’s word and loving arms surrounding you bring you peace.
