Youlanda (Lana) Marie Shanabrook, age 75, passed away peacefully Friday, December 30, 2022 at her home in Ocala, Fl.
She was born April 15, 1947, in Derby, Virginia to Ernest C. and Audrey A. (Anderson) Hill. Lana lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, spending time with her two daughters, grandchildren & great grandchildren and other family members and friends.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Lana loved the beaches in Florida and the mountains of Tennessee.
Preceded in death by her husband, John J. Shanabrook, her brother, Ernest D. Hill and her parents Ernest C. & Audrey A. Hill. She is survived by her daughters, Lethia A. Riker of Orlando, Fl. & Janice L. Thompson of Ocala, Fl., sister, Deborah D. Frank of Ocala, Fl., 5 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.






I miss and love you so much my sister, my friend. I may never see you smile again, but I’ll keep every inch of you deeply impressed in my soul. You’re the loveliest sister ever. Always in my heart.
