At Crevasse’s Simple Cremation, compassion runs generations deep, and is guided by the steady hands of experience.

Founded in 2013 by Beau Crevasse and Julie Bishop, our story is grounded in both a rich family legacy and a shared vision for how care should feel.

For Beau, the Crevasse name carries generations of service to North Central Florida, from his grandfather’s 20 years as sheriff, to his father’s 35 years as deputy, and to the family-owned florist that served families for over four decades. That spirit of care continues today.

Julie Bishop brought her own dedication and leadership. With years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the families we serve, Julie has been the steady heartbeat of Crevasse’s Simple Cremation, managing its operations for over 12 years. Her compassionate leadership has shaped our culture and our commitment to doing this work the right way with dignity, honesty, and grace.

Together, Beau and Julie recognized that not every family desires or can afford a traditional funeral. What families deserve, however, is care; simple, affordable, and respectful. Beau’s earlier work offering pet cremation services taught him how deeply people value compassion when it matters most. From that foundation, Crevasse’s Simple Cremation was born. A sister firm offering a different kind of service, but the same unwavering care.

Though these separate companies serve different parts of the family, they remain united by a single purpose: to walk with families through life’s most difficult moments, offering them comfort, simplicity, and peace of mind.

Today, Julie Bishop operates Crevasse’s Simple Cremation independently with its own dedicated facilities, while continuing to honor the values that built the Crevasse name. We are proud to serve our local communities, not only through our work, but through our active involvement in charitable causes, community service, and support for fellow small businesses.
