Julie Bishop is a native of Jacksonville and moved to Gainesville in 2004 after graduating from Florida State College Funeral Services Program in Jacksonville. Julie is the youngest of five children to Dennis and Nancy Bishop. In addition to their five children, Dennis and Nancy Bishop also parented 26 foster children. Her father worked at W.W. Gay for more than 40 years and her mother was a nurse for 30 years. From her hard working and compassionate family, Julie learned that she wanted to continue those traits and bring them to a career that would allow her to help her community and provide a service to families where those characteristics are necessary. With over 20 years of experience in the funeral industry and as a funeral director, she possesses a vast amount of knowledge on most religions and cultural beliefs.

She enjoys running, traveling, Gator sports and spending time with her labradoodle Pickles. She is a member of City Church of Gainesville and is a graduate of Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Gainesville XXXV.

Tuesday is proud to say she is a Native Floridian. She graduated from a small town high school "Okeechobee High" and then got her degree from IRSC. She moved to Gainesville in 2012 to marry her "High School Sweetheart" with her amazing son, who attended Santa Fe College. With her new marriage she gained 2 bonus sons who she absolutely adores. Her and her husband own a small farm in Hawthorne where they enjoy raising cows, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and Winston the rabbit.

She retired from a 32 year career in retail. Working at Crevasse's is such a wonderful change. Tuesday is excited about working in Funeral Service. She enjoys helping people and making things as easy as possible for them at such an emotional time in their lives. She looks forward to serving the families of Gainesville and surrounding communities for many years.

With a strong foundation in customer service and operations management, Coleen joined Crevasse’s in 2024, bringing years of dedicated admin experience to our team. Her deep sense of empathy and efficiency allows her to support families with dignity, understanding, and warmth. Coleen is passionate about helping others and ensuring every family receives compassionate and professional care.

Coleen calls Jacksonville home, where she lives with her husband, two kids, and her cat, Emerie Maxwell. When she's not at work, you'll find her gardening, getting lost in a fantasy novel, or belting out early 2000s pop-punk and emo anthems while driving her kids to scouts, gymnastics, and school events.

Caroline, a Florida native, was born and raised in Miami, Fl until the early 2000’s when her family relocated to the St. Petersburg / Tampa Bay area. Being an adopted, she grew up an only child, but later found out she is the youngest of five siblings. She graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High School in 2008 and went straight to work in the insurance industry for the better part of a decade.

She likes to spend time with her four dogs and two cats, hiking, road tripping, spending time with family, watching the Gators and Bucs play football, as well as the Lightning play hockey.

Although Caroline was in the insurance industry for a decade, she felt she was called to do something more. She did not truly realize what that was until her oldest sister passed away, it was at this point in her life, she realized she loved being able to help her family in whatever way necessary through the grieving process.

Caroline joined the Crevasse team in 2020, where she could connect with and serve the families that choose Crevasse’s.

Melissa Moody is a born and raised Ocala local. She started in the funeral industry in 2009 and is passionate about helping families during a time of loss. She has an adult daughter and a mini schnauzer she enjoys spending time with. She also enjoys hunting, fishing, watching Gator sports, Braves baseball and going to estate sales.

Taimiko Green is one of directors for our Gainesville Office. She is a Jacksonville native and graduate of Florida State College of Jacksonville's Funeral Services Program. She's had the privilege of taking care of families as a Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer since 2009. She stands behind the belief that those faced with making final arrangements should be able to do so by simplifying the process, lowering the cost and not being pressured. She strives to care for each family with respect and professionalism.

Taimiko is active in her church, Greater Grant Memorial AME Church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her nephews, reading, shopping and traveling. Taimiko is an avid fan of the Florida Gators and Pittsburgh Steelers.

He has been working in the field of funeral service since 2012, and couldn't imagine doing anything else.
When not working, he enjoys travelling, training in Jiu Jitsu, and reading (a lot).

Conner Brace was born and raised in Murrieta, California and is very proud to be a SoCal native. Coming from a Marine Corps family and Blue Collar roots, he learned from a very young age what it means to work hard, and the importance of developing a strong work ethic. Through trial and error during his formative years into his early 20's, he has worked hard to become the man he is today. Conner spent years working many different jobs from delivering pizza, to catching hot air balloons, to event production, to running heavy equipment in rock quarries, but never truly found his calling in life until he was introduced by his wife and mother-in-law, to the Crevasse's family in 2024. Today, Conner is proud to serve all of Florida, and families beyond, as the Crematory Operator here in Gainesville where he now happily calls home. Conner is ambitious, persistent, and wants to make a difference in people's lives.

When he is not at work, Conner loves to spend time at home with his wife and 3 dogs, and catching up with family and friends. Conner is a metal musician and has been involved in the music industry since he was 14 years old, he loves sports and enjoys watching Football and Baseball, and loves to travel and see the world as well. Conner has called a few states home over the years, but Florida is where his heart belongs and is excited to set roots here in the beautiful Sunshine State.

Mark Brady is a third-generation funeral director from Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/ Business Administration from Edinboro University of PA in 1978. Mark completed his mortuary education at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1979 and became a licensed Pennsylvania funeral director in 1980. He later earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 1986. Mark owned and operated his own funeral home for several years in Pittsburgh PA before moving to Central Florida in 2007 where he continues in the funeral business.

Mark has a wife (Sherry), two children (Matthew and Kaitlin) and two grandchildren (Emily and Cecelia Rose) whom he adores. He lives in Dunnellon, FL and enjoys traveling and cruising. Mark is a Past Grand Knight and Past Faithful Navigator of Council #1400 in Pittsburgh. He is now an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus third and fourth degree after over 30 years of service. He and his wife are members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon, FL.

Mark has dedicated his life to serving people as a Retired Reserve Deputy Sheriff motorcycle Unit Commander in Allegheny County, PA and as a retired adjunct faculty member with the Allegheny County Community College in Pittsburgh and with the University of Phoenix. He was also a Past President of the Northside Lions Club in Pittsburgh, PA where he ran an eye mobile screening vehicle giving free glasses to those in need.

Dawn, was born and raised in Iowa, Dawn moved to Florida in 2004.  Dawn has a husband (Matthew) of 40 Years, with whom she has two sons (Kyle & Dylan) and two beautiful grandsons (Myles & Zyon) whom she adores. Dawn has worked in the customer service industry for 35 years and has recently felt she was meant to help families during one of life's toughest times.
While Dawn is new to the funeral industry, she has experienced it on a more personal level. She has survived most of her siblings and both of her parents.
During her free time Dawn enjoys spending time with her Family, Nature Walks, Rock Concerts, Bowling, but mostly spending TV time with her 3 Dogs, (Bandit, Raven & Dayja)

Having the dream of becoming a mortician from the age of 10, Lindsay knew this career path was destined for her long before adulthood. Lindsay relocated from central Florida to northeast Florida to attend mortuary school in 2014 where she later earned a degree in Funeral Services from Florida State College at Jacksonville. Soon after college, Lindsay gratefully obtained her credentials as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She served families of Clay County, Florida and surrounding areas for a number of years, taking great interest in cremation, desairology, and embalming practices most of all.

Lindsay has been honored to join the team at Crevasse’s Simple Cremation since 2022, where her most important promise to families is to treat each loved one in her care with the utmost dignity, reverence, professionalism, and compassion. She currently serves as Funeral Director in Charge of our Jacksonville location and crematory facility. In her free time, Lindsay is a singer-songwriter, lifelong learner, science and comedy enthusiast, current baccalaureate student of Supervision and Management, and mother to 2 objectively adorable daughters.

Coming from a small town, Michelle understands what it is to treat everyone like family. She has been interested in the death care industry from a young age, but first explored many other professional avenues that sharpened her natural gift of taking care of those in need including 16 years in customer care and management and 10 years as a stylist for the differently abled and memory care.

As a 2019 graduate of the Funeral Services program at Florida State College at Jacksonville, Michelle was able to finally find her foothold in her life’s purpose: caring for grieving families in what is their most difficult time. Realizing that families make cremation arrangements for their loved ones during the worst moments of their lives, Michelle has made her mission to guide every one of them through these moments with compassion and respect. She cares for each family as if they are her own.

In the industry since 2020, Michelle was honored to join the Crevasse’s Simple Cremation team in 2023. Guiding and assisting families through the death and grief process with care is her driving force.

Gabriel was born and raised in Jacksonville FL, (Florida native) and graduated from Fleming Island High school in 2017. He graduated from North Florida Medical Institute for his Phlebotomy certification in 2017. Gabriel completed his undergraduate studies at Keiser University (Jacksonville) for forensics, medico legal death investigation and advanced sciences.

Gabriel has 5 years of experience in the funeral business and servicing families for funeral services and arrangements throughout various cities in Florida. He currently resides in Hastings, FL.

Monica Medina moved to Jacksonville in 2019 from Atlanta. After working as a caregiver at Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities for over five years she decided to start a career in funeral services and switched to working in funeral homes in 2021. She graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville with a degree in Funeral Services in 2024. She became a full-fledged Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in February 2025. When she and her husband moved down to Hastings, she wanted to work somewhere closer to home. She is now the funeral director at the St. Augustine office and is looking forward to getting to know the area and the people that live there.

When she isn’t working, she enjoys cuddling and playing with her 12 yr old Yorkie, Spock, watching true crime and science fiction shows, crocheting and making soap for her family and friends, and playing video games and watching horror movies with her husband Gabriel (yes, the crematory operator).
