Rita was not only my grandma, she was my closest friend. She was outgoing, caring, compassionate, and she always knew how to make you laugh. She loved the holidays, christmas was always her favorite. We'd plan how we were decorating months ahead, shed always change her mind. She was always so happy, and she shared her happiness with others. She was the light that never dimmed. I will always love you Nana, your wheezing laugh, your silly jokes, your crazy questions. You will forever be in my heart. <3

I’ll always remember our times at Golden Flake. You were such a great example to the younger employees and could always be counted on. Go rest high on that mountain.
I love and miss you so much sis. You are and always will be a big part of me. R.I.P. with the family. Always loved, never forgotten ❤️
Aunt Rita was very sweet and fun to talk too, I remember everyday at home my grandma would call her and tell her everything, and I would listen to them and laugh or hear them. One Christmas she came to visit us and I remember giving her my bed for her to have as much fun with my grandma as they could with what time they had together. I’ve been thinking about her a lot recently, hoping that she is somewhere happy with her family who were waiting for her. Aunt Rita, I love you and I miss you and I will always remember you for the lovely person you are.
Rita was a loving grandmother with an enchanted heart. Her laugh always brightened up every room. Her love for Christmas and her love for her family has always been strong. She helped hayleigh and I with stuff all the time and was fun to hang out with her. I’m glad she had a good time in Tennessee and meeting Rory. Hope she’s having a good time in her Christmas wonderland. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and love.
She was a great person. I'm glad to have had her in my life.
