Andrew "Andy" Jackson Taylor

It is with greatest sadness that our loved one Andrew “Andy” Jackson Taylor of Archer FL, has
left us to join with those gone before him, and to stand in the welcoming arms of his Lord and
Savior. He was born February 8, 1944 in Battle Creek, MI and passed December 29, 2020 in
beautiful Haven Hospice, ET York Care Center. He was a special man to all that met him.
Anyone that ever met Andy will not forget him. Kind, warm and hard worker as proven by his
love of family and friends. He built a home for his family with the help of friends and worked in
the union sheet metal trade for 35 years. After he retired from his trade of sheet metal he, along
with his wife [of 34 yrs at the time] took up truck driving for the next 10 years. They drove
specialty loads and enjoyed all 10 years to all 48 states but never made it to Alaska or Hawaii.
After those years he got back home, and said he was through traveling for awhile. Now he’s
made this last journey to his everlasting true home, where he can rest in peace with those gone
before, his father and mother Bently and Frances [Thuston] Taylor and sister Mary Ellen
[Taylor]Rego. All that knew Andy knows the many battles he fought during his lifetime and
deserves peace. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Betty Jean [Padgette] of Archer, sons
Raymond [Randy] A. of Archer, and Robert [Bobby] E. of Ocala, daughter Marchanda [Marcie]
Taylor Vitzoski [Curtis] of Archer, granddaughter Jade Taylor of Wildwood, grandsons Travis
Crawford of Archer and Robert JR Taylor of Ocala, great grands Trinity Lewis and Tamir Killings
of Wildwood, sisters Karen Sue Phillips [Claude] Myakka, Sonja Bracken [Thomas] Middlesex,
North Carolina, brother Richard of Myakka along with many cousins, nephews, nieces, and
numerous friends too many to list all.

My Dear loving Papaw he was the Best man I’ve ever met. He taught me a lot, He showed me a lot and he loved me even more. I just wish I could get couple more hours with him. He was built “Ford tough” and fought a very long fight. Keep my nana “his loving wife” & our family in positive prayers. Papaw Doodlebug misses and loves you so much. Save me a spot up there.

Miss you terribly but know you are finally at peace with your loved ones and all your puppies, the most recent Furbee. You loved them all and know you had a great reunion. Looking forward to it myself. 💔 Until then…
I will miss you dearest Andy. There was always good camping trips, laughs around the campfires, roadtrips to now where in particular. with you and your dear Betty! May the Angels keep you safe. I send prayers and condolences to all your friends and family.
