Im going to miss you Ms. Anne thank you for your wisdom and heart felt generosity towards me and all others you crossed paths with.
We love you and miss you forever.
GOD BLESS
I got a phone call Sunday morning August 18, 2019. A very close friend of mine had passed away the day before.
Anne-Lise Muracciole was 72. She lived in Gainesville and worked at the University of Florida. This is were I met her. She was the staff representative for the UF Science Fiction Club. She became part of a group that included other students that also become my friends.
She worked as the manager of the Reitz Union box office and later as the Leisure Courses Coordinator at UF.
These are my memories.
She really got me into Doctor Who and I got to meet Peter Davison (5th Doctor) when he was at WUFT. **wibbly wobbly timey wimey**
As a student I worked with Anne at the Box Office. We become great friends and I remember spending days out her place near Alachua during the summer swimming in the pool, having BBQs, and just walking down by Hogtown Creek.
I remember Anne talking a little about her childhood where she had a wolf as a pet and the different places she lived.
Met her father George, who had been in the French Foreign Legion. This is were I learned that fresh ground coffee was the best and didn’t have to be expensive to be good.
Last time I saw Anne was a couple of months ago at her home in Gainesville.
I WILL MISS HER SO MUCH BUT I WILL NEVER FORGET HER.
Love you Anne. Glad I knew you, and got to see you. I will miss you.
I was a classmate of Anne-LIse's at Father Lopez High School in Daytona Beach, FL. We graduated in 1965. There were 55 in our class. We had our 50th reunion in 2015. That was the last time I spoke with Anne-Lise. She did not not attend our reunion, although she had considered it. After the reunion I lost contact with her. I keep the class list with contact information. All her information was her work contact, so when she retired I could not contact her. I have been searching to see if she had died and now I have my answer. We were close friends in high school. I am so sorry to hear that another of my high school friends has died.
I need you anne
I miss you
