April Zink, 59, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. April was an Illinois native and a graduate of Northern Illinois University. She began playing the trumpet at age 9 and became an accomplished musician. She shared her talents under the big top with circus bands and far beyond. For the last many years April called Gainesville, Florida home. She was a good friend to all and gave so much to so many. April was and is a child of God and will be dearly missed.
