Arthur Leslie Surface, III

Arthur Leslie Surface III (Ringo) age 70 died peacefully in his sleep February 26th at Malcom Randall VA hospital in Gainesville Fl.

Mr. Surface is survived by 2 children Leslie And Joseph Surface; 3 step children Jonathon, Tommy, and Donna Spicer; 4 grandchildren Taylor, Briana, Landon, and Kylie; 1 great-grandchild Leanna; 1 sister Patrice Skinner (Jim); 3 nieces Lauren, Kristen, and Kimberly and many close friends.

Arthur is a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in the Vietnam War and Iceland.

He grew up in Miami Fl. And was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Jean Surface; his greatest passion was building and driving race cars. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Gainesville  Fl. Where he sang in the men's choir. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and friend. We will miss his playful and goofy personality.
