Arthur Richard Parent
August 25, 1970 – October 28, 2026
Arthur Richard Parent, 56, was born in Exeter, New Hampshire, and resided in Seabrook, New Hampshire. He passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida, leaving behind a family and many friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Arthur was born on August 25, 1970, to the late Arthur George Parent Jr. and the late Alice Mae Parent (Crowell).
Throughout his life, Arthur was a hardworking man who spent his career as an Automotive Technician. Outside of work, he found happiness on the ocean. He loved hunting, fishing, and lobstering. He also enjoyed his giant fire pit in the back yard and lighting off fireworks on the regular. These were more than just hobbies; they were a part of who he was and the memories he created throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Ann Parent (Fallis), originally from Beverly, Massachusetts.
He leaves behind his children, his daughter, Meagan Parent, and his son, Mitchell Parent, as well as the memory of his late stepson, Mathew Scott.
He is also survived by his stepchildren, Cassandra Simard, Russell Pszenny, Leah Volonino (Pszenny), and Jessica Hogan.
Along with grandchildren Melody Parent and Allison Starkey, and his step-grandchildren, Jazmin, Evelyn, Christopher, Alana, Kyleigh, Layla, and Theodore (Theo).
He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Michael Edwards of Kingston, NH, and his niece, Micheala Pitkin (Edwards).
Arthur leaves behind many other extended family, colleagues, and friends whose lives were touched by knowing him.
Though saying goodbye is never easy, the memories Arthur leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Whether through family gatherings, shared stories, time spent outdoors, or the countless little moments that made him who he was, Arthur will never be forgotten.
He will forever be loved, deeply missed, and remembered in each of our own special ways.
A celebration of life will be followed as he wished. (Date is to be determined.)
