Born in Jacksonville Florida, Ben was a man who loved his family, singing, and the Lord.

Ben served honorably in the U.S. Army – Green Berets and was an alumnus of the University of North Florida.

His hobbies included woodworking, reading, and sudoku puzzles.

He will be remembered for his youthful spirit and his playful nature.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ken. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his children, Thomas, Camie, and Christina; multiple grandchildren; and his brother Wesley.

  3. Ben was one of the first members I met when I joined our Chapter of the Special Forces Association. His infectious smile and good humor made it easy to join this association of fine men who shared the same dedication and qualifications necessary to earn the right to wear the “Green Beret.”

    I considered Ben to be a good friend. He will be missed.
