Carol M Ingram

Carol Macks Ingram, 83, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away peacefully in her own home on May 19, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Holland “Buddy” Ingram, and her daughter, Glenda Mayo.

Mrs. Ingram is survived by her daughter, Brenda Wells (Houston Wells); sisters Peggy Brewer and Paulette Sunday; and grandchildren; Connor Mayo, Cameron Mayo, Gary Wells, Sol Wells, and Isaac Wells.

She grew up in Century, Florida, and there began her career as a telephone operator. She spent much of her adult life in Cantonment, Florida, before residing in Gainesville.

She will rest next to her daughter Glenda in the meadow at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery.
