  1. Chuck will be deeply missed. I will miss waking up to jokes sent to me by chuck. Im very sorry for the childrens loss he was a great person and father. He loved them very much

  2. Chuck,
We met freshman year, and from that moment on, life gave me a brother, not just a friend. We went through so much together—more memories than I could ever put into words. You taught me about honesty, integrity, loyalty, and what it truly means to be a good person.

You were more than my best friend—you were my brother, my confidant, and one of the most sincere people I’ve ever known. Those late-night talks that seemed to never end, and of course the inevitable call back five minutes later because we always had “one more thing” to say… those are the moments I’ll miss the most.

Life is going to be a lot harder without you in it. A piece of my world is missing. I’m grateful for every memory, every laugh, every lesson, and every moment of friendship you gave me over all these years.

Until we meet again, my friend… rest easy. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never forgotten. ❤️

  3. I’ve known chuck since the early 80s when I moved to manasquan always a great guy .A greater friend.we were in boy scouts together troop 59 went on many hikes ,whitewater rafting, canoe trips, and especially forestburg in the summer. I’m going to truly miss you my friend may you rest in peace.

  4. Good cowboy gone way too soon, my deepest condolences for the entire family!
I’ll miss the big guy and his same rodeo stories he loved talking about with me.
Chuck Roast ( what I always called him) truly loved his family and ALWAYS wanted nothing but the best for them.
Rest easy buddy and hope you’re jumping steers in the big arena above!

    Sincerely, Cole & Jennifer Erwin

  5. “Have You Seen the Old Cowboy?”

Have you seen the old cowboy
    Who lives around here?
    The one who likes fishing
    And bulldogging steers

Have you seen the old cowboy?
The one with the big grin
    With eyes like the heavens
    And tougher than sin

    I need help mending fences
    Need help with the hay
    Need help with these horses
In the worst kind of way

Have you seen the old cowboy?
Is he out on the scene
    Chasing wild buckle bunnies
    And rodeo dreams?

Have you seen the old cowboy
    Who lives past this gate?
I’ve got something to tell him
    And no, it can’t wait

The look on your face says I’ve made it too late

But if there is a way
To send a message up high
It would mean the world to me
    To just say goodbye

Just tell him I’ll miss him
    And save me a spot
    Right there by the fire
    While the chili’s still hot

And I’ll play him a song
As soon as I catch up
And we’ll go for a ride
    In his old silver truck

Cause there’s fence that needs mending
    And the horses need fed
But most of all I just want to
    Spend time with my friend

So if you see the old cowboy
    Please tell him I said
That I love him, I’ll miss him, happy trails my dear friend
