Cindy Lee Scott passed away surrounded by family on December 25, 2020 at the age of 61.
Cindy is survived by her children Jamie (Alisha) Scott of Gainesville, FL and Daphne (Chris) Kiernan of St. Augustine, FL. Her sister Karen Poole and brother Lee Jones. Her grandchildren Madison, Camden, Braxton, Amber, Sawyer, Finn and Addison; along with nieces and nephews.
Cindy was born in Gainesville, FL to Gerald and Sharon Jones. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1977. She worked many years in different medical offices. She worked for Cardiology Associates and then went on to work for Digestive Disease Associates. Cindy loved spending time with her grandchildren; they made her world turn. She loved her animals like they were her own children.
A memorial service will be held at Westwood Hills Church of God. Please contact the Westwood Hills Church of God or the family for service times and dates.

It was my great pleasure to have worked with Cindy. She was such a kind soul. She will be missed.
I had the honor of meeting Cindy and playing poker with her at the Gainesville Chapter of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club. What an absolute Gem she was, despite her illness and pain she always had a kind word and a beautiful smile. She touched my life in such a sweet way. She will be missed dearly.
Cindy was the light of so many peoples lives. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and a kind word for you. Prayers for all. The world will be a little more lonely but wow I'm sure Heaven is truly hopping with joy as she tries out her heavenly body until we meet again.
