Connie Ames

Beloved Mom, Nana, Sister, and Aunt, Connie Tingle Faye Ames, age 74, passed away on November 23, 2025, at her home in Ocala, Florida, with her loving family at her side.

Born on July 6, 1951, and raised in Bloomfield, Kentucky, Connie carried her hometown roots with her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Tingle and Charles Tingle, and her brother, Larry Tingle.

Connie is survived by her husband, Bobby Ames; her daughter, Heather M. Fischer (Chad); and her cherished grandson, Vincent Michael Fischer of Ocala, Florida. She also leaves behind her sister, Sharon Wright (Larry) of North Port, Florida; her brother, Scott Tingle of Texas; her niece, Rebekah Greer (Jeremiah); and her great-nieces, Madi and Cali, all of whom she loved dearly. Connie will also be deeply missed by her loyal fur baby, Oreo, who was always by her side.

A longtime member of the Bloomfield community, Connie lived life with kindness, humor, and a generous spirit. She loved children and found her greatest joy in time spent with her family. Her recent move to Florida brought her true happiness, and she was delighted to settle into her new home surrounded by loved ones.

Connie will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unmistakable spirit. She faced life with courage and heart, leaving behind memories that her family will carry forever.

Honoring her wishes, Connie chose cremation. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
