David Miller

David (Dave) Miller, 58, of Gainesville passed peacefully at UF Health Shands Hospital.

Born in Catasauqua, PA. June 6, 1962, he was the son of Patricia L. Miller (Fries) and the late David J. Miller Sr.

David is survived by his mother, Patricia L. Shea of Gainesville, FL. Brother Eric Hartke (Shea), spouse of Brandon S. of Interlachen, FL. Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins. Dave was preceded in death by his father, David J. Miller Sr. of Moore Township, PA. and Brother Daniel J. Sarley of Allentown, PA.

David was a volunteer firefighter for the Hoquendauqua Fire Company, Whitehall, PA. in the 1990’s where he proudly served under the late Chief Benner, and worked mechanically for multiple companies. Once in Florida, David served on multiple nature committees in Gainesville where he received several awards.
