Debra Faye Minard

Debra Faye Minard, age 64 of Ocala, Fl went home with her Lord on August 30, 2024. She was born on September 2, 1959, to Emmett Boyd Cyrus, Sr. and Elva Jane Cyrus in Beckley, WV.

Debra is survived by her long term partner, Jacob Vining, her loving children, Lester (Buddy) Minard and Laura Minard and three grandchildren, Arianna Cody, Eli Weaver and Dannon Minard. She leaves behind three loving siblings, Connie (Daniel) Schwarz, Roberta (Robert) Adkins and Emmett (Deborah) Cyrus, one Uncle, Jennings Cyrus and one Aunt, Melva Wheeler and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding her in death, her parents, Emmett Sr. and Elva Cyrus, her loving sister Adonna Cyrus, two nieces, Nicole Barcus and Jamie Watts and her precious dog, Scraps.

She was a wonderful mother, daughter and sister who provided support, wisdom and love in abundance. Debra was a friend to many leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. She was a nature and animal lover and very passionate about the environment. She was relentless in her political beliefs and would spar with the best of them!

She will be buried at the Fox Cemetery in Brooks, WV after a private family ceremony.
