Dennis Michael Radvak, age 75, passed away on August 14, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on September 10, 1950, in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, to the late Michael and Edith Radvak.
Dennis entered the military (Department of the Navy) right out of high school. He spent 19 years in the service, where he took immense pride in his work as an aviation mechanic, especially when working on the A-6 airframe family, including the Prowler and Growler aircraft. Once retired, he moved to Florida, where he met his future wife, Claudia.
He was a man of deep integrity who carried his passion for aviation throughout his entire life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia, and a large, loving family that includes numerous grandchildren residing throughout the greater Florida and Washington State areas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Edith Radvak.
In accordance with his final wishes, Dennis will be buried at sea with the assistance and full honors of the United States Navy.
