Donna Ellen (Jones) Harrison passed away on January 7, 2021 in Ocala, Florida at the age of 72. Donna was born in Bristol, Virginia to Grover and Juanita Jones. She graduated from Bluff City High School in 1967.

She graduated from Florida Southern College in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. After 33 years of Federal Service, Donna retired from the Department of Veteran Affairs in 2010. Her final role was as their Chief Accountant at the West Palm Beach Veterans Hospital.

Donna loved to cross stitch and crochet. She took great pride in her crafts. She made many blankets and pictures for loved ones and friends. She was an animal lover and had a special affection for Greyhounds. Donna traveled the world with her husband while he served in the U.S. Air Force. After retirement she was always excited to go on a trip in their RV.

Donna is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of over 53 years, Harry. She also leaves behind their Daughters Lorrie and Amy, grandchildren Brandon and Breanna, and family friend, Cheryl. Donna rescued 3 cats, Lulu, Maddie, and Mac who will miss her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jimmy, Grover JR., and Andrew Jones.
