Douglas James Herring, 61, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away April 28, 2018 in Jacksonville surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Herring was born in Latta, South Carolina. He worked in construction and enjoyed spending his time fishing, and spending time with his family taking vacations to the beach. Douglas was preceded in death by his daughter Stacie Herring Jischke. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Brenda Herring, son Brian Herring, mother Sara Coker, brothers Lee Herring and Larry Coker, sister Janet Herring and granddaughter Maddalynn Herring. Crevasse's Simple Cremation of Jacksonville is honored to be serving the Herring family.
