Evelyn J. Weiss, of Old Town, Florida, passed away, January 21, 2018 in Cross City, Florida. She was 90. A loving mother, grandmother, and friend passed peacefully at Cross City Rehab & Health Care Center in Cross City, Dixie County. She was a longtime resident of Dixie County. She was employed by the county for many years holding multiple positions, with the county, her last position being with the Sherriff's Department. She often said she had a lot of fond memories with many people in the county. Although it is sad, her long journey is over and her suffering is gone forever. As we believers say, "We will see you again, farewell.” Crevasse's Simple Cremation, Gainesville is honored to serve the Weiss family.

I love you Evelyn and in this too short a time we’ve known each other you’ve shared so much of your loving self with me and it hurts to let go but you deserve your reward, until we meet again!
My sincere condolences Sherri to you and your family.
Evelyn was always with a smile and I always loved her laugh, she was so much fun to work with! I will truly miss her and she is now at peace. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
May God comfort the family in this time of sadness.
She was a great lady and my friend. She will be missed dearly.
