Frances Davis

Frances Elizabeth Martin Davis, age 79, of Hawthorne FL, gained her angel wings on January 20, 2021 following a brief, non-COVID related illness. She was surrounded by her loving family and blessed with love and prayers from those who were unable to be there.

Frances was born on April 3,1941 in Stoneville, NC to the late Geoffrey Joseph Martin and Dorothy Mae Hudson Moore (Jack),

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Jean Starr of Orange Park, FL, and 4 daughters, Pam Padgett, Diana Crawford, Sherry Hoskinson and Melina Rae Gray. She is also watching over 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, her best friend and neighbor Barbara Givens, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Frances loved spending time with her family and friends, which normally included her two favorite pastimes, sports and outdoors. She was an avid Florida Gator, NFL and NASCAR fan. She enjoyed taking care of her yard, garden and living the lake life.
