Gary Lynn Ethington Sr passed away on October 31, 2019. Gary was born on December 5, 1950 to Tom and Betty Ethington of Trilla,Il. He was the second oldest of 9 children.

       Gary was a loving Husband, Father, and Papa. He never met a stranger and was loved by all. He loved to be around family, sing to the babies, and tell stories to all that would listen. Gary was someone you would be lucky to know in a lifetime, and you would never be able to forget him. We will hold on to our memories until we meet again.

       Gary is survived by his wife Sandy and his three sons and their wives  Nick, Gary Jr (Becky), and Kris(Christine); his grandchildren Ylana, Alex(Leann), Cody, Christian, Logan, Dillon(Katie), Summer, Ariel, Thomas, Nathan, Emily, and Jillian; great grand children Noah and Aubrey; Papa to great niece Mina; siblings Etta, Brenda (Larry), Charlie, Tommy(Marsha), Cindy, Rick(Julie), Barry and Janie(Bob). He will be missed by all.

  3. To Gary's family, I send you all my sympathy, the first few years of my life, i lived across the street from the Ethingtons, there was never a time when i didnt know Gary.
    To his siblings- there is no grief like loosing a brother. It is different kind of grief than any other, like loosing a little part of yourself. Because you have the same memories, almost the same life, till one by one you leave the nest. I pray for you comfort, when sadness is so heavy you dont feel like you can bear it. When you are happy, but then feel guilty, because some how you don't feel you should ever be happy again. GOD bless you all.
