Henry Also known as Jerry to his friends was born in Abilene Kansas, but the family moved to West Palm Beach Florida when he was very young. He retired from Publix after 37 years as a Butcher. He also worked as a Security Guard for many years. His passion besides his family
was always helping people. He was a member of the Lions Club for over 10 years where he held several positions including President more than once. He also collected tens of thousands of glasses and was a Lifetime Lion. Jerry became a Melvin Jones Fellow in 2005. It is a
recognition of humanitarian work presented to those who have donated $1,000 or more or had that amount donated in their name. He and his wife were also on the Board at the Outreach Center for the Blind where they worked tirelessly. He was an Elder in the Church of Christ Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his wife Noreen of 48 years of Gainesville, Florida. A daughter Trina Sommese and her husband Greg of Brooker, Florida. A son Henry Fleagle and his wife Darlene of Gainesville, Florida. A grandson Caleb Levin-Fleagle of Gainesville, Florida. A brother Sam
Alston and his wife Shirley of Abilene, Kansas. Many Nieces and nephews. And he and his wife fostered several children over many years.
His last wish wish was to donate his eyes so others can see which we were able to achieve.The family is asking that donations be made in his name to the Florida Outreach Center for the Blind in West Palm Beach, Florida.Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Fleagle family during their time of need.
