Jeffery Erik Berg, aged 67, of Alachua, FL, passed away on September 2, 2024. Born in Bellevue, Nebraska, on September 28, 1956, to Erik Harry Berg and Mary Thomasine Berg, Jeffery was one of four siblings, including his brother Steve Berg and sisters Harriet Rhodes and Shelly Luzny.
Jeffery is survived by his loving wife, Renee Berg, and their four children: Amber (Jason) Lovelace, Kaley (Amit) Isak, Allyson Berg, and Stephen Berg. He was a cherished grandfather to Hayden Lovelace, Kinsley Lovelace, Noam Isak, and Liam Isak. He is also remembered fondly by his beloved dogs.
A proud attendee of the University of Florida, Jeffery was a lifelong Gator fan. Over a distinguished career spanning four decades, he worked in the boat manufacturing industry. His passions were many and included a love for the sea, boating, fishing, diving, and maintaining fish tanks. He took great joy in growing and cultivating citrus trees. Jeffery’s adventurous spirit led him to travel the world, with memorable trips to Greece, Venezuela, Mexico, and two journeys to Zambia, Africa in his later years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
