Guestbook

  1. I met Jerry shortly before his marriage to my sister Jackie and was struck by what a nice person that he was.
My wife Judie and I both agreed that they would make a good pair and that proved to be perfectly true as they shared 50 years together. I was saddened by his recent passing and felt like I had lost a brother. He is gone now but I will always remember his smile and gentle personality and his jove for Jackie and Eric.

  2. Jerry was a wonderful brother growing up together. Always thoughtful of others in his words and actions in the way he lived. He had a beautiful bass voice and love to sing. I will miss him picking at me which I endure from childhood when we endeavored to play Major League Baseball with him pitching and me being the first female catcher. You’re always remembered with love.

  3. How can I describe what a wonderful, tender hearted brother Jerry was—although he picked at me mercilessly at times! He didn’t put up with others picking at me, tho. Except Mike, who thought it was great fun. Until he realized that I didn’t think so. One special memory of Jerry: he wanted to become a big league pitcher when he was still rather young. So he needed a catcher; that was often me. We spent many an afternoon in the back yard practicing pitching. He convinced me that if I worked hard at it, I could be the next Campanella!
