John Edward Mack, Sr.

John Edward Mack, Sr. was born on September 24, 1940 to George and Gertrude Mack, who preceded him in death. He was educated in the local public schools of Duval County.

In September 1960, John was united in Holy Matrimony to Ruby Lee Walton. To this union, six lovely children were born. Early in life, Mr. Mack accepted Jesus Christ into his life. He was a member of of East Side Church of Christ. Mr. Mack was an employee of the Jacksonville Urban League until his retirement in 2003. 

Mr. Mack departed this life on Monday, June 8, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his lovely wife, Mrs. Ruby Lee Walton Mack. 

Mr. Mack leaves to cherish his precious memories, his children: Linda Mack Ricks (Brian) of Newark, DE;John Mack, Jr. (Hope), Tracee Mack Price (Michael), Stephanie Mack, Corkey Mack and Stacey Mack Smith (Breon) all of Jacksonville, Fl; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six brothers; four sisters; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and many dear friends.
